My name is James, and I am a Fantasy Footballaholic. I can't seem to get enough fantasy football, even during the entire offseason. Joining a dynasty league has certainly helped satisfy my cravings during spring and summer. I created this blog in the general hopes of creating sort of a fantasy football portfolio. I hope this will help pave the way for at least a part-time FF career publishing articles, consultation, rankings, etc. For that goal to come to fruition, I am attempting to create an ever increasing following of FF addicts, who enjoy my work and respect my advice. This blog is therefore not just a fun hobby, but also an application of sorts.

Notes

~Larry Fitzgerald's stock is in danger of falling a few spots with the Cardinals migrating toward a more run-heavy offense with Matt Leinart under center.

~Sidney Rice's ranking is due to the expectation that Brett Favre is returning.

~Greg Jennings may have the best value out of all the stud WRs.

~With the arrival of Antonio Bryant in Cincinnati, I am unsure about what will happen to Chad Ochocinco's stock. One theory is that Bryant will open up the field for Ochocinco to flourish, but the other theory is that the Bengals will continue to be run-heavy and Bryant will steal catches away from Ochocinco. I would trust the latter theory, but will at least expect Carson Palmer to improve with those options on the field.

~There are a few different groups of WRs ranked together because it is too early to tell which one will be better out of each grouping. The first group is a trio of Colts WRs--Anthony Gonzalez, Austin Collie, Pierre Garcon--who could all be equally good fantasy options. Gonzalez is returning from injury, and as of now, I would expect him to be the second WR option for Peyton Manning. Both Collie and Garcon are better suited to play out of the slot, so the Colts will start implementing four WR sets.

~The next grouping is Devin Thomas and Malcom Kelly. Both may end up being starting WRs, relegating Santana Moss or forcing him into the slot. Thomas has better physical attributes than Kelly, so I expect him to be a better option under Mike Shannahan.

~Two more pairs of WR groupings are Devin Hester and Earl Bennett at 42 and 43, and Jonny Knox and Devin Aromashodu at 60 and 61. I expect the former two to be the better options and the latter two to be lesser. However, anything can happen with that group of average WRs under Mike Martz.

~Donald Driver should have very good draft value, but this last season was an indication that his age will catch up with him toward the end of the season. If you draft him, trade him after a few good performances.

~WRs ranked from about 35 to 52 all have similar values. It was very hard to rank them this early, but more importantly, if you are looking at any of these guys for your third or forth WR in the mid rounds, you can probably hold off a few rounds and stock up on RBs, a starting QB, and/or a starting TE before considering a WR out of that selection.

~I encountered the same value similarities amongst WRs ranked from 53 to about 66.

~That's right...look at the WRs ranked 52, 59, 72, and 87...that's not a glitch, that is how I feel about them, even if Terrell Owens finds another team (Tampa Bay or Oakland at best).

~Anyone listed lower than 70 has a good chance of going undrafted in your leagues, but they deserve your attention during training camp and preseason.

~Lookout for the WRs in their third year that I have ranked below the 35th spot. Any one of them can breakout, and some--Devin Thomas, Malcom Kelly, Eddie Royal, Earl Bennett, Early Doucet--will have excellent value.
