My name is James, and I am a Fantasy Footballaholic. I can't seem to get enough fantasy football, even during the entire offseason. Joining a dynasty league has certainly helped satisfy my cravings during spring and summer. I created this blog in the general hopes of creating sort of a fantasy football portfolio. I hope this will help pave the way for at least a part-time FF career publishing articles, consultation, rankings, etc. For that goal to come to fruition, I am attempting to create an ever increasing following of FF addicts, who enjoy my work and respect my advice. This blog is therefore not just a fun hobby, but also an application of sorts.

Notes

~Welcome to elite status, Jermichael Finley. Make yourself comfortable, because you'll be living there for a long time.

~Vernon Davis proved himself to be elite, but don't be surprised if his numbers go down a bit from his 2009 season. He had a very high TD per touch ratio. That probably won't happen in consecutive seasons, if at all again.

~Zach Miller (the Raiders variety) will finally be able to fully emerge with Jason Campbell (a massive upgrade from JaMarcus Russell, and that's not saying much) as his QB.

~I had a hard time keeping Tony Gonzalez in elite status since he will be 34 years old this season. I figure he has at least one more studly season, probably two more, left in him.

~Mike Martz has destroyed Greg Olsen's value. However, Olsen is far too talented to drop below this current ranking, no matter how underused he is in Martz's system. God only knows how long Martz will be employed in Chicago, but if he leaves within the next few years, Olsen's value will be immediately resurrected. His dynasty owners need to sit on him and disregard low-ball offers because his talent will be much greater than his fantasy production under Martz.

~Players like Jared Cook, Tony Scheffler, Martellus Bennett, and Brandon Pettigrew didn't really lose value. I ranked certain rookies higher than them, which caused their rankings to drop a bit.

~Visanthe Shiancoe's fantasy value is directly related to Brett Favre's tenure in Minnesota....obviously.

~Shawn Nelson should be a prominent TE for the Bills this season and the near future starter, and his athleticism gives him future stud potential. Unfortunately, he plays for the Bills, who have essentially become the "New Lions" team. Their QBs, O-line, and WR corp are all questionable and borderline god awful. It will take a while for Nelson to live up to his potential.

~As explained in my Rookie Rankings, Ed Dickson and Dennis Pitta are grouped together until one emerges as the favorite to eventually inherit Todd Heap's starting position. I consider them relatively equal talents until one of them develops more successfully. I like Dickson a bit better for the long haul, but Pitta has looked better in the Raven's OTAs thus far.

~Fendi Onobun is certainly a less popular rookie name, but he is a former basketball player converting into a TE. He may have a better chance of busting than succeeding, but given the Rams desperate lack of TE talent on the roster, Onobun has every opportunity possible to prove he can convert his athleticism into production on the gridiron.
